It’s November, which means it’s practically Christmas. Or, at least, it’s time to start planning for the upcoming holiday season by making your list and checking it twice. Maybe you want to watch a few holiday movies this year. Or maybe snapping photos with Santa is high on your list. Or maybe you’re hoping to fit in a trip before the calendar changes to a whole new year in just two short months.

  • Santa Day Parade (December 7, 2024): Watch the man of the hour cruise around Fredericksburg in a big red firetruck while he lets his reindeer rest up for their big night. How cool! Then join Santa in the courthouse square for photos and treats. Fun for all ages but especially wonderful for little ones.
  • Singing Christmas Tree (December 7, 2024): Bring your blankets and hot cocoa and enjoy a night of Christmas Carols around a 30-foot Christmas tree! This event is free and open to the public.
