Love fast cars? And maybe a little friendly competition? Looking for a reason to escape to the Dallas/Fort Worth area this spring? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you need to make your way to DFW for the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington. Scheduled for March 13-15, 2026, the race will see Indy cars take to the streets of Arlington to race around famous local landmarks AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys) and Globe Life Field (home of the Texas Rangers). 

What is the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington?

This inaugural event, which will see Indy Cars race through Arlington’s famed entertainment district, will treat fans to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, INDY NXT by Firestone, GR Cup Series, and USF Pro 2000. The event takes place from March 13-15, 2026, and will feature live racing each day starting as early as 8 am. Fans will be able to watch the cars practice on Friday, compete in qualifying races Saturday and then see the big race on Sunday. The track through Arlington that the cars will race on is 2.73 miles long with 14 turns.

Besides racing, what else is happening at the Grand Prix?

Even if racing isn’t your favorite, you are sure to have fun at the Grand Prix of Arlington because there is so much to do! There will be live music Friday & Sunday night after the races end with the Good Ranchers Concert Series, where T-Pain will headline Sunday night. Saturday night, visitors are encouraged to head to nearby Texas Live! for St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans.

So much! Arlington is a huge entertainment hub in Dallas/Fort Worth with so much to offer. While you’re in town for the race, you can visit the nearby National Medal of Honor Museum and learn about the brave men and women who have earned this honor.
